Bridge School and Holiday at Almuña
Three bridge courses in the comfort and incredible setting of Almuña under the expert tuition of the Stocken brothers, either Jack or Zebedee, both young, accomplished and charming teachers. They started their bridge careers with Andrew Robson and both now run their own bridge schools, Jack in Yorkshire and Zebedee in London.
There will be separate tables for intermediate players and for beginners who are patiently and gently nurtured.
The Bridge programme will have a mixture of teaching and supervised play - all played in a fun and friendly environment. The standard of Bridge for both trips will be for players of an intermediate standard as well as beginners.
During the morning session there will be tuition using Compass Cards (set deals) and a fun topic tailored to the group. In the pre-dinner session there will be supervised play and after-dinner Bridge, in summer under the stars, is always a popular option for the energetic!
On one morning there will be an organised excursion to the historic city of Ronda via one of the most spectacular drives in Europe and golf at Sotogrande.
Non-Bridge playing husbands, wives and partners are welcome provided that they are sharing a room with a Bridge player!
"Their hillside farm just beyond Gaucín provides a cosseted introduction to rural Spain. There are feasts of fine views, food and wine to set you up." - Juliet Shaw - Woman’s Journal
