Clare and Hughie Arbuthnott have ridden all of their lives and most recently worked together in Argentina guiding riding holidays. Whilst riding with them you will cover the stunning scenery around Almuña, following ancient muleteers and smugglers’ paths with views out over the Straits of Gibraltar.
Andalucía is famous for its breed of horses founded by the Carthusian monks during the reign of the Hapsburgs. They are noted for their calm and sure footed nature and became the favoured horse for heavy cavalry. They are also the breed behind the famous horses at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.
These riding holidays are for people who had had some previous riding experience.
