Almuña is an idyllic place to come with a party of friends perhaps to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. From the moment they collect you form the airport the Arbuthnotts and their staff do the rest, leaving you free to be the host without the overbearing responsibility of making decisions.
Your holiday could include walking and riding expeditions on the estate and in the spectacular surrounding country. Almuña has its own tennis court and there is also golf, sailing, wind and kite surfing and mountain biking nearby. There is always the alternative to laze by the pool and just let the world go by.
Food is a big part of the Almuña experience. There is delicious soup made from almonds, light and tasty tortillas, Paco's fine paella, succulent partridge in a nutty cream sauce, tender roasted quail and Jane's fruity summer puddings with homemade ice cream. The morning brings freshly squeezed orange juice, melon, cherries, Almuña honey and eggs collected from the Arbuthnotts' hens.
