Almuña the home of the Arbuthnotts
Almuña is situated in the south east corner of Spain on a farm with distant views across the Straits into North Africa. There are eight spacious double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, plus a further three bedrooms nearby.
Sink into the comfort of plump duck-down pillows, crisp cotton sheets and deep hot baths or stroll through a garden amongst olive groves and almonds to find hidden places to marvel at some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. This is Almuña!
Beside the large pool there are soft chairs and a chilled drinks cabinet in the shade of a giant carob tree. Just the place for a good book or a quiet snooze after a game of tennis on the Almuña court.
Almuña has its own organic kitchen garden from where comes daily an abundance and variety of fresh vegetables. These are the ingredients for one of the best kitchens in Andalucía all masterminded by Jane & Clare Arbuthnott. Hugh & Hughie take care of the quality and variety of wines sourced throughout Spain.
The staff at Almuña have been with the family for over 20 years. They come from the local villages and serve guests with a natural courtesy and always a cheerful smile.

At Almuña there is Wifi throughout the house, good mobile phone coverage, Sky television, ping pong, table football, board games, bridge tables, tennis rackets, golf clubs and a private farm of 500 acres to explore.
