The Arbuthnotts & Almuña
Almuña is the Arbuthnott family home set in the Sierra de Espartina on a farm of five hundred acres. It has incredible views stretching to distant fortified Berber villages and across the Straits to the mountains of North Africa. The house has a sense of timelessness and indefinable feeling of warmth and affection. As you enter you walk under a terracotta arch laden with sweet scented jasmine into a cobbled courtyard surrounded by roman tiles, Moorish studded doors and dazzling white-washed walls.
